This program provides federal funding directly to fire departments to hire new firefighters and help recruit and retain volunteer firefighters.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congresswoman Laura Gillen (NY-04) and Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) led a bipartisan letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio and United States Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff urging that any nuclear deal with Iran must permanently dismantle its capacity to enrich uranium. The letter additionally calls for snapback sanctions to be applied if negotiations does not achieve a full dismantlement of Iran’s nuclear program.
