GARDEN CITY, NY — Today, Congresswoman Laura Gillen (NY-04) issued the following statement in response to a suspicious letter sent to her congressional office.
"Today, my office received a suspicious envelope, similar to those sent to other congressional offices. My staff and I are safe, and law enforcement was notified and intervened right away. Thank you to our law enforcement for their rapid response and commitment to our safety everyday.
The Bellerose Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) station is currently the only remaining station in Nassau County with no elevator, escalator or ramp to the platform
