“I am honored to serve on the House Transportation & Infrastructure and Science, Space, & Technology Committees in the 119th Congress. I am looking forward to working with my colleagues to deliver on the critical priorities my constituents sent me here to accomplish and bring home federal dollars to NY-04. As a Member of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, I will fight to improve Nassau County’s infrastructure: repairing our heavily-traveled highways, roads, and bridges, bringing home federal dollars for the busiest commuter rail system in the country, ensuring clean drinking water, strengthening our emergency preparedness against natural disasters, and protecting our shoreline. I will fight to protect critical federal investments the benefit Long Island, including funds from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act that are helping grow our region’s economy and directly enhancing our communities,” said Rep. Gillen. “Long Island has long been a major player in America’s innovation economy. I will use my role on the House Science, Space & Technology Committee to bring good-paying jobs home to Nassau County, bolster research and drive STEM innovation, and improve the lives of my constituents. I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle on these committees to deliver real results for Nassau County.”
