Rep. Gillen Named Vice Ranking Member of House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation
WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Congresswoman Laura Gillen (NY-04) a Member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, released the following statement after being named Vice Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation:
“I’m honored to have been named Vice Ranking Member of the T&I Coast Guard and Maritime Subcommittee,” said Rep. Laura Gillen. “The Coast Guard plays a critical role in safeguarding our coastal communities and I am proud to represent US Coast Guard Station Jones Beach on Long Island’s South Shore. I look forward to working with Ranking Member Larsen, Ranking Member Carbajal and my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to ensure our brave Coast Guardsmen have the resources they need to carry out their missions safely and effectively.”
